Course Breakdown
The PADI® Open Water Diver course includes three main phases:
- Knowledge Development self-paced online prior to in-water training.
- Confined Water Dives on DAY 1(in a pool or pool-like environment) to build core skills
- Open Water Dives on DAY 2-3 to apply what you’ve learned in the ocean

What’s Next After Certification
Continue your journey with us with courses like PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
or Deep Diver. Improve your navigation and buoyancy, explore wrecks or try night dives—there are many specialties to choose from. An Advanced certification lets you dive deeper than 18m/60ft and opens up even more underwater adventures.
